Cauliflower Vegan Cheese
This rich, creamy, and delicious Cauliflower cheese recipe is 100% vegan. You'll be amazed at how delicious vegan can be! This vegan cheese is a great alternative for Mozarella cheese and can be used in Vegan Pizzas
1/2 cup Plant-based Milk
2 cup Cauliflower cut into small pieces
4 tbsp Tapioca or corn starch to thicken the cream
1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
Water for boiling the Cauliflower
How to make
Let's boil some water, add the cut cauliflower florets and cook until it is soft. Drain the water.
Transfer the cauliflower to a blender. Add the remaining ingredients and blend on high until smooth. (I used 1/2 cup of milk but the amount of milk will change from person to person depending on the texture. At this point, Taste and add more nutritional yeast and sea salt, if you'd like)
The mixture should be a little thicker than pancake batter.
Now heat a pan, add the cauliflower mixture, cook it on low heat for about 5 minutes. Remember to stir every few seconds as it tends to stick to the pan if you don't.
After the first 2 minutes, the mixture will get "stretchy like a cheese. Continue cooking for a few minutes until desire consistency.
