Delicious homemade vegan crackers for a quick snack
These crackers are even better than the store-bought once and they’re really easy to make. I’ve always wanted to make crackers but I thought it’s such a hard recipe. Little did I know, anyone can make it without even a recipe. I spent a few weeks developing the perfect recipe using minimum natural ingredients.
Once you make the basic recipe, possibilities are endless to make different crackers. Gluten-free, cheesy, herbs, garlic, etc you name it.
So all the things you need are probably already in your pantry. In just under 30 minutes you can enjoy a nice batch of homemade crackers. Who’s in?

Let’s begin
Ingredients
1 Cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoon water
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric
Optional: Handful of pumpkin seed, chia seed, little cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven 400 °f
Gather all the ingredients except water. Mix everything using a food processor for a few seconds
Add 1/4 of the water, start mixing
Add rest of the water little at a time until everything is mixed, at this time mixture will turn into a ball. The dough should not be either dry or stick.
Transfer the ball into a parchment paper
Cover with another parchment. Start rolling using a rolling pin
If you don’t have a rolling pin, simply use a water bottle to roll
Flatten until the mixture is about 1/8 inch thick. Thinner the cracker, crisper it gets.
Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut into the shape you want the crackers to be. You just need to make cuts instead of separating them
Transfer the rolled dough into a baking pan
Bake 400 °f at 15-20 minutes until edges get brown. The longer you bake, crisper the cracker will be
