Easy Deviled Chicken Pizza

Ayubowan! In this post, I have shared my secret pizza recipe with you. We were craving for that P&S pizza (Pastry shop we love and adore in Lanka) one afternoon and that’s how we figured this pizza. It’s really quick to make, well you will have to let it raise the dough for an hour or two, other than that you will have the best pizza you will ever eat! 

This recipe makes two pizza doughs. Once the mixture is ready, divide this into two equal doughs and let it rise separately. So once the dough rises and doubles in size, cover with a plastic wrap and keep in the freezer for next time or simply reduce the ingredients by half for one-time use


  • 1 Packet active dry yeast 4oz

  • 1 1/3 Cups Warm Water ( Not hot or cold )

  • 3 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 Tsp Sugar

  • 2 Tsp Salt

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil + 2 Tbsp of Oil for applying all over the dough for proofing

  • For Tomato paste – 1/2 Cup Tomato Sauce

  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 Tsp Chili Powder

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1 Tsp Parsley Option

  • For the Butter Mixture – 2 Tbsp Melted Butter

  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • For the main topping – Deviled Chicken

  • For Toppings Pretty much anything you like – Spinach

  • Ricotta cheese

  • Parmesan Cheese

  • Cheddar Cheese

  • Onion

  • Green Chili or Jalapeño


  • First, add active dry yeast to lukewarm water and set it aside for about 5 minutes. Don’t use hot water or cold water as it can reduce or stop the effects of yeast

  • I used the food processor for this recipe, you can also use a hand mixer or even mix it by hand In the old fashion way. Now mix the flour, salt, sugar, and oil.

  • Beat once to combine everything

  • Now add in the yeast mixture Mix until everything is combined and form a dough. The mixture will be a little wet. At this point, Transfer to a floured surface and knead for a minute.

  • Form a ball shape and divide it into two equal parts.

  • Oil 2 bowls with olive oil and set aside.

  • Place each ball of dough into the oiled bowls and rotate the balls so the oil can be caught everywhere into the ball, this way it stops the top of the balls from drying out.

  • Cover with a cloth and let it rise double in size for about one to two hours in a warm place

  • To make the sauce – Mix all of the sauce ingredients and adjust the seasonings to your taste.

  • Preheat the oven to 475 degrees.

  • Sprinkle some flour onto your counter, take one ball of dough and dredge it in the flour on all sides.

  • Since it was very delicate I have kneaded for a bit and started flattening, Then again I fold the dough 2-4 times to get a thicker surface. Using a hand or a rolling pin, roll the dough out to a roughly 10-inch circle.

  • Transfer to the pizza pan. As seen in the video, keep about 1/2 to a 1-inch border. I applied tomato sauce first and then added Ricotta. 

  • After adding the sauce and cheese and selected topping, then you can add prepared deviled chicken. I have used extra ketchup when I made the deviled chicken for extra flavor

  • Add any toppings as listed in the ingredients (or any other as you desire). Be creative. Lastly, top it with the shredded cheese, bake for 20 minutes, rotating halfway through if necessary ( I haven’ rotate my Pizza but it depends on the oven)
