This simple waffle is Vegan, Gluten-free, and such an awesome recipe. It is the perfect everyday waffle that you can dress up as savory or sweet simply by adjusting a few ingredients. Make these your everyday waffle and customize as you wish!
An easy gluten-free waffle recipe with a Vegan option. This savory waffle is made with few simple ingredients and it has a fluffy, soft inside and a crispy outside layer.
Few Tips before we begin
Gluten free- Make sure you use gluten-free oat flour
Milk- Use any plant-based milk you prefer
To make it sweet- Remove the spices, add vanilla
Egg- Use Chia or Flax eggs as a substitute for egg
Keeping it Crispy- Use a paper towel to cover the prepared waffles so it won't get soft
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cups oat flour
1/2 cup Plant-based milk
1/2 mashed banana ( 1/8 cup)
1/4 tsp Salt
½ tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Chili flakes
1 tsp Green Chilies or Jalapeño
Optional- Curry Leaves
Chia Egg
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp warm water

How to Make
This recipe is perfect for one person. Feel free to do multiply the recipe as you wish
First, start by making the Chia egg. Add chia seeds with warm water.
Let it sit for a few minutes.
Now add everything except flour and baking powder
Combine well
Add the flour and baking powder
Mix everything
Now you have the perfect mixture
Spray lightly with a non-stick cooking spray
Cook according to waffle maker's instructions, about 3-5 minutes.
Cover with a paper towel to get a good crispiness
